Did Jesus pray in other Tongues?

Jesus needed the infilling of the Holy Spirit to be able to complete His ministry on the earth. Why Pastor Glenn?

The Father, YHVH, Yahweh is the Word of God. John 1:1 NKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

When Yahweh, the Word of God, came down to earth and became flesh, we called Him Yeshua, Yahweh Saves.

Jesus is the English Language translation of the Hebrew word Yeshua.

John 1:14 NKJV ” And the WORD BECAME FLESH and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

Jesus is also the Word of God, He is the Word in the flesh.

The Holy Spirit is also the Word of God, He is the Word in the Spirit.

1 John 5:7 NKJV “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.”

The Father, Yahweh, the Son, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit, Rauch Ha-kodesh, are ONE and they are all three, the Word of God.

When Jesus came to earth and was born through a woman He left the creative power of God, the Holy Spirit, in heaven.

Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

Jesus needed the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, in order to do the works of God: signs, wonders and miracles. Every born-again believer needs the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues to fulfill their calling on the earth.

Acts 1:8 NKJV “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

We need the power of the Holy Spirit in order to do what Jesus has called us to do. John 14:12 NKJV “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

Mark 16:17-18, 20 NKJV “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with NEW TONGUES; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.”

Speaking in other tongues is the only evidence that a person is in fact filled with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:4 NKJV “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Notice Royal Friends, they were ALL filled and they ALL spoke in other tongues!

Praying in other tongues is a heavenly language, NOT an earthly language. 1 Corinthians 14:2 NKJV “For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.”

The Lord however, can make any person hear it in their own language.

When did Jesus get the infilling of the Holy Spirit?

Luke 3:22 NKJV “And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

John 1:32 NKJV “And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.”

Jesus needed the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10:38 NKJV “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

Jesus received the infilling of the Holy Spirit when He came up out of the water after being Baptized by John the Baptist. John the Baptist, was God’s appointed High Priest of the day. It was necessary for Jesus to be baptized by John in preparation for His priestly ministry (“to fulfill all righteousness”). When John was was killed, Jesus became High Priest!

When one is filled with the Holy Spirit, the only Biblical evidence is speaking in other tongues.

Romans 8:26 NKJV “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with GROANINGS which cannot be uttered.”

Did Jesus really speak in other tongues, Pastor Glenn?

John 11:33 NKJV Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He GROANED in the SPIRIT and was troubled.”

John 11:38 NKJV “Then Jesus, again GROANING in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.”

Did Jesus pray in the Holy Spirit? Absolutely!

Romans 8:26 NKJV “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with GROANINGS which cannot be uttered.”

Jesus ‘groaned in the Spirit!’

Every born-again believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray in other Tongues, it is the Lords desire. Mark 16:17 “they will speak with NEW TONGUES.”

Everything we get from God; we get by faith. We were born again by faith. We were not there when Jesus was crucified, but we heard about it or read about it and we believed that He was and we asked Him to be our Lord and Savior by faith. It is the same with the infilling of the Spirit you believe and then receive it by faith; and begin to speak in other tongues by faith.

PRAYER: Father in Heaven, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross and rose again from the dead on the third day. I believe that His shed blood is the only way to have my sins forgiven. I ask you Father right now to forgive me of all my sins, cleanse me with the shed blood of your Son Jesus. I forgive all those who have ever done me wrong. I ask that Jesus come into my heart, into my life, and be my Lord and Savior. I ask this in Jesus Name. Father I chose to follow Him all the days of my life and I will never change my mind, in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Father, Jesus is the baptizer of the Spirit. I ask you right now, to fill me with the Holy Spirit and Fire and give me my own heavenly prayer language. Fill me now Lord, in Jesus mighty name! I receive the infilling of the Spirit and my own prayer language right now, in Jesus name.

Now, by faith, you start praying in another tongue!

If YOU need to repent for any reason; (uproot the seeds of sin that you have sown) DO IT! YOU must turn from your sin, disobedience to the Word of God, and turn back to God, and make the choice to obey His Word; then ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus! Forgive everyone who has ever harmed you; forgive yourself for the hurt that you have done to others and to the heart of God.

    Ephesians 5:18-21:

When a believer in Christ is living in the fullness of the Spirit, he will be led into (and empowered unto) fellowship with, and ministry to others:. “Speaking to one another in Psalms, and hymns and spiritual songs.”. ..
And making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things in the name of Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.

The Holy Spirit will establish you. Rely on what our Lord Jesus Christ for what He has done.
