God has begun to pour out His Glory
A great Healing Revival is on the Horizon
Isaiah 55:9 NKJV “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Many of the parables that Jesus spoke are prophesies about Himself. Jesus was in fact the Son of God and He was a prophet. He prophesied about many things. When a true prophet of God speaks he/she speaks what is already fulfilled in God. They do not predict the future. There words have already been fulfilled and will be manifested in time. God resides outside of Time. He is the beginning and the end of time at the same time; and He resides at every point in time, omnipresent.
When a believer acts in faith he brings a manifestation of God into time.
In Luke 14:16-24 Jesus is talking about Himself, and He is revealing to us that there will be a major healing revival before His return.
Luke 14:16-24 NKJV “Then He said to him, “A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, 17 and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’”
In the Hebrew tradition. When a man was going to hold a great supper or marriage supper, he would send out invitations ahead of time, maybe weeks or months earlier. The people invited would send back word that they accepted or not. The ones that accepted were expected to be there for the event. Then just before the supper, the man would send his servants out again and let every body know the time and place.
18 “But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’ 19 And another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.’ 20 Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’”
Those who had accepted the invitation earlier were now declining. They made excuses why they could not come to the super. These represent those who have been born again for years. They are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb but now they can’t come. Sin is more important for them. I can’t come, I am too busy with adultery, to busy with my self concerns, I am too busy with perversion. They would rather live in sin, they had deceived themselves.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
If you are in unrepentant sin, you simply are not and can not be, in the Kingdom of God.
The servant comes to his master and reports that those who were invited first were not going to come to the supper (remember the parable the first will be last and the last will be first).
21 “So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’ 22 And the servant said, ‘Master, it is done as you commanded, and still there is room.’ 23 Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say to you that none of those men who were invited shall taste my supper.’ ”
Notice: bring in the poor, maimed (the word maimed means missing body parts), bring in the blind. A major healing revival will come before the return of Jesus. Jesus will pour out His Spirit for healing because He knows that it is hard for some people to believe in Him without signs and wonders. Signs and wonders prove that Jesus is alive and that He is the Son of God.
John 4:48 NKJV “Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”
John 7:31 NKJV “And many of the people believed in Him, and said, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?”
When Jesus came in person to reveal the cross of Christ at the foundation of the world, He performed all these signs and wonders.
Matthew 15:29-31 NKJV “Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there. 30 Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them. 31 So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
Notice: the maimed were made whole! They got their missing body parts back! The lame walked! The blind saw! The mute spoke!
Royal One, it is coming. Are you ready? Do you want to be a participant in this mighty move of God that is on the horizon. Remember faith gets ready. A farmer has faith for a crop but he first makes the field ready: he plows, he plants, he waters, he keeps the predators out, he pulls the weeds, he builds storage buildings, he gets his equipment ready; he GETS READY for his harvest.
If you want to be part of this major move of God that is coming, then you must get ready. The word faith means believe in, trust in and obey the word of God. Is your faith ready? You must step out and act on your faith. Faith without works of obedience is dead.
James 2:26 NKJV “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
Psalm 51:17 NKJV “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.”
Isaiah 57:15 NKJV “For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
Isaiah 66:2 NKJV “For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the Lord. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.”
If you are trembling at the Word of God, the you will be obeying it.
If YOU need to repent for any reason; (uproot the seeds of sin that you have sown) DO IT! YOU must turn from your sin, disobedience to the Word of God, and turn back to God, and make the choice to obey His Word; then ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus! Forgive everyone who has ever harmed you; forgive yourself for the hurt that you have done to others and to the heart of God.
