IMPROPER DRESSING/WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD

The christian life is a life of battles. We have to be prepared as soldiers of the Lord at all times to wage spiritual warfare. The only way we can successfully do this is to put on the whole armour of God. We cannot let our guards down.

Could you imagine a soldier without his boots or helmet on at the battle field? How about a soldier without his belt or a soldier dressed without his sword or gun? Yet most believers are not properly dressed spiritually and many choose to select the pieces of armour that appeals to them ignoring the rest. This makes them vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy because the enemy takes advantage of the uncovered or unprotected areas.

The tendency for many Christians to dwell on just one part of the armour, such as faith, is therefore dangerous. The Scriptures therefore implores us to put on the WHOLE ARMOUR of GOD, (Ephesians 6:11). Each piece of the armour has its specific role and one cannot be substituted for the other. Child of God, always remember that the armour is of God and not of man.

God has provided a type of uniform for His saints to put on and you must make sure you have yours on. You must be properly dressed! This uniform is the Armour of God for His saints. ( Ephesians 6:10-17).

I will be teaching on how to wear the various aspects of the armour subsequently if you must establish your victory in Christ daily in reality.
