Let’s not miss the time of the Lord’s visitation?

The entire Bible is a continuous revelation of Jesus Christ crucified. Hebrews 10:7 NKJV “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ”

When Jesus came in person, the scribes, the teachers of the law, Pharisees, Sadducees did not recognize who He was; even when He stood at arm’s length to them. They were too wrapped up in themselves to see Jesus, the God of the book they studied! They missed their time of visitation.

Luke 19:41-44 NKJV “Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, 42 saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Jesus wept for the people of God because they did not even know the God that they supposedly worshiped.

I was on an airplane one time traveling to do a meeting. I pulled out my Bible and started reading it. The man sitting next to me said: “oh, your reading your Bible. I know God also.” I turned to him and said: “Does God know you?” He had a peculiar look on his face and did not talk to me the rest of the flight.

You see my friends; God does not know many people who say they are born again. Let me give you an example: I can research everything that there is to know about president Trump. I can look up all his past generations. I can find out what they all did for a living. I can see how he met his wife, etc. etc. But, If I passed him on the street, he wouldn’t know me.

God knows us by our fruit/works.

Matthew 7:20 NKJV Therefore by their fruits you will KNOW THEM.”

John 10:14 NKJV “I am the good shepherd; and I KNOW MY SHEEP, and am known by My own.”

1 Corinthians 8:3 NKJV “But if anyone loves God, THIS ONE IS KNOWN BY HIM.”

Luke 13:25 NKJV “When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I DO NOT KNOW YOU, where you are from.”

Luke 13:27 NKJV “But He will say, ‘I tell you I DO NOT KNOW YOU, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’”

John 5:42 NKJV “But I KNOW YOU, that you do not have the love of God in you.”

If we are in sin, “GOD DOES NOT KNOW US!”

2 Timothy 2: NKJV “Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “THE LORD KNOWS THOSE WHO ARE HIS,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

Many people know about God. They go to church, Bible study etc. But they are totally self-absorbed, self-centered, self-focused. They live worldly and in sin. And unfortunately, GOD DOES NOT KNOW THEM.

Royal Ones, ask yourself: “Does God Know me?”

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

You must do the will of the Father to enter the kingdom of heaven. The Lord will tell those who practice lawlessness to depart from Him. Lawlessness simply means sin. 1 John 3:4 NKJV “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.”

You might say, “Pastor Glenn, those are people who are not born-again.” But look verse 22? Only a born-again believer can cast out a devil?

We are presently living in a generation that is so self-absorbed that they are missing what God is doing on the earth right now! He is starting to pour out His Spirit to bring in the end time harvest and believers are missing out!

We are presently living in perilous times. Men are lovers of themselves. Sexual sin is rampant. People are angry, bitter, easily offended and hold unforgiveness. They sit in church, listen to tapes, watch videos, watch Christian TV like TBN but they never make the decision to obey the Word of God. They live worldly.

2 Timothy 3:1-7 NKJV “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Royal Ones, it is time to “Wake up.” Matthew 25:5 NKJV “But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.”

The Bridegroom is returning.

Our present generation is letting the world pass them by unnoticed. We don’t even see the people right in front of us. Parents ignore their own children. Children ignore their parents. Families sit at a dinner table and ignore each other while they play on their phones. You see husbands and wives out to dinner. They don’t even talk to each other, just play on their phones.

God is beginning to move on the earth. Believer, WAKE UP! Become a participant in what the Lord is doing. Pray! Pray that the Lord’s will, will be done on the earth. Pray for the fulfillment of prophecy. Pray! Read, study, meditate on the Bible. Do the works of the ministry!

John 14:12 NKJV “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

Don’t miss the time of the Lord’s visitation!

If YOU need to repent for any reason; (uproot the seeds of sin that you have sown) DO IT! YOU must turn from your sin, disobedience to the Word of God, and turn back to God, and make the choice to obey His Word; then ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus! Forgive everyone who has ever harmed you; forgive yourself for the hurt that you have done to others and to the heart of God.
