Lust is extremely powerful and evil. It’s very important not to stare at, fantasize about or idolize someone’s beauty. It’s adultery in God’s eyes. Worship is extreme adoration. God is a jealous God & wants us to put him first in our hearts, rather than anyone he created. Fornicators will not inherit Heaven. 1 Cor. 6:9-10 The flesh is cursed. The world is against God & holiness. The battle for your soul is very real & eternally important. Flee lust, because it is one of Satan’s primary weapons against humans. Submit to God, resist the devil & he will flee from you. Take every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ. Pray so that you don’t fall into temptation, because the spirit is willing to please God, but the flesh is weak and fights the spirit for control. Fight the urge to lust and to be prideful & pray for God’s help. He won’t allow more temptation than you can bare. God will always give us a way to escape sinful temptations.
