Only Two Choices
There are basicly two choices in life: #1 to be in agreement with God, His Word or #2 to be in disagreement with God and His Word.
Every person on this earth gets to make the decision of which way to go.
Matthew 18:19-20 NKJV “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
When we are in agreement with the Lord, the Spiritual ‘Power of agreement’ is released in our lives.
Mark 10:27 NKJV “…for with God all things are possible.”
Mark 9:23 NKJV “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
When we choose to be in agreement with the LORD, HIS WORD, we are choosing life and blessings and the promises of God in the Word of God are ours to obtain by faith. If I am in agreement with the LORD, I will simply be obeying His Word.
If I am in disagreement with God, I will simply be in disobedience to the Word of God, sin.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NKJV “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
There are no grey areas when it comes to faith. Faith is believing in, trusting in and obeying the Word of God.
If you are in agreement with anything else other than the Word of God, then you are in disagreement with God, in disobedience to the Word of God.
If you are not in agreement with the Word of God then you are actually in sin.
Romans 14:23 NKJV “But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.
Whatever is not from faith is sin! (Faith = believe in, trust in and obey the Word of God)
Royal One, did you get that? If you are not in agreement with the Word of God then you are in sin.
Could a person in sin, disobedience to the Word of God, expect that same word to heal him/her, deliver him/her, prosper him/her?
Let’s get real. How could you expect Jesus, the Word of God, to heal you if you are going against the Word of God. You are not walking in agreement with the Lord! And He is not in your midst.
Obedience to the Word will bring a manifestation of Jesus in your life.
John 14:21 NKJV “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
The Lord spoke to Amos the prophet. He was upset that His people would not get in agreement with Him. The people would not agree with the Word of the Lord, they disobeyed Him. Sin is simply disobedience to the Word of God. God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit are one; They are all the Word of God (John 1:1; John 1:14; 1 John 5:7)
Amos 3:1-3 NKJV “Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying:
2 “You only have I known of all the families of the earth;
Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”
3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
If you sin, go against the Word of God you cannot walk with Jesus; you are not in agreement with Him.
If you go against the Word of God, you go against God. You are not in agreement with Him. How can you be blessed, be healed, be delivered, be prospered, and/or be saved by the Word of God if you go against it?
John 8:12 NKJV “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Jesus is the Word of God; if you are following Him, you will be obeying the Word of God.
John 3:19 NKJV “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 NKJV “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
John 3:21 NKJV “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
1 John 1:5 NKJV “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:7 NKJV “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
The Blood of Jesus cleanses you when you walk in the light, walk in agreement with Jesus. Simply put you are endeavoring to obey Him.
2 Corinthians 6:16 NKJV “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”
How can your temple be in sin and still be in agreement with Jesus? It Can’t!!!
When you pray the sinner’s prayer you are making a vow to get in agreement with Jesus. “Lord, I make you Lord and Savior of my life and I will follow you all the rest of my days. THIS IS A VOW!!!
Remember, Jesus is the Word of God and to follow Him means that you will be endeavoring to obey the Word of God.
Numbers 30:2 NKJV “ If a man makes a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.”
God holds us accountable to the vows that we make with Him. This is serious business.
Are you in agreement with a political party that promotes the murder of babies and homosexuality? If you are, then you are not in agreement with God.
Royal Ones take a close look at who or what you are in agreement with.
My final question to you is: “will you choose life?”
If you need to repent for any reason; (uproot the seeds of sin that you have sown) DO IT! You must turn from your sin, disobedience to the Word of God, and turn back to God, and make the choice to obey His Word; then ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus! Forgive everyone who has ever harmed you; forgive yourself for the hurt that you have done to others and to the heart of God.
