Pharaoh recognized that Joseph was a man filled with the Spirit of The Lord

Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream.

Genesis 41:25-28 NLT “Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, β€œThe dreams of Pharaoh are one; God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do:The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads are seven years; the dreams are one. And the seven thin and ugly cows which came up after them are seven years, and the seven empty heads blighted by the east wind are seven years of famine. This is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.”

God revealed to Joseph what HE was about to do. We know at least one purpose in this famine was to bring Joseph and His family back together again and allow all parties to render forgiveness to each other.

Pharaoh recognized that Joseph was a man filled with the Spirit of God.

Genesis 41:37-38 NKJV “So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants. And Pharaoh said to his servants, β€œCan we find such a one as this, A MAN IN WHOM IS THE SPIRIT OF GOD?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, β€œInasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.”

Pharaoh could see God was with Joseph. Joseph rose quickly to the top: from being sold to Ismaelites by his own brothers, to being a slave to Potiphar and then to being placed in prison.

In all Joseph’s trials and test he continued to serve God and those in authority over him. He did this without holding unforgiveness, resentment or bitterness. In every circumstance in his life, Joseph continued to honor God; he did EVERYTHING as unto the Lord.

Joseph NEVER lost hope in the Lord. He remained diligent and kept a positive attitude.

How about you, Royal Ones? Can the people around you tell that you are a man, woman or child that is filled with the Holy Spirit? Do your words, actions, attitudes, expressions, gestures, behavior demonstrate that the Living God resides in you?

When you are faced with tests and trials how do you respond? Do you respond God’s way?

James 1:2-5 NKJV “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

We should all take this lesson about Joseph to heart. Let’s examine ourselves and see if we respond the way that God would have us do.

If YOU need to repent for any reason; (uproot the seeds of sin that you have sown) DO IT! YOU must turn from your sin, disobedience to the Word of God, and turn back to God, and make the choice to obey His Word; then ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus! Forgive everyone who has ever harmed you; forgive yourself for the hurt that you have done to others and to the heart of God.
