You may not be able to help people who are weak and discouraged because of their heavy struggles.
But at the very least, you can strengthen them and lift their spirits and give them hope.
For if they lose heart in times of trouble, their strength will be small.

Say to them:
“Be strong, don’t be afraid! Behold, your God will come with vengeance and with the recompense of God. He Himself came to save you!”
The future does exist, and our hope in Christ will not be lost.
