“Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake. And you also are among those Gentiles who are called to belong to Jesus Christ. To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be his holy people: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” Roms 1:5-7 NIV

The Apostle went further in explaining his ministry, and not omitting the fact that it was all by grace. Despite being a sinner, God’s grace saved him, and it was this same grace that was enabling him execute his task of preaching the Gospel. Eph. 2:8-10, 1Tim 1:12-16

NOTE: The desired result of the Gospel is to believe/Faith, and then, Obedience. Titus 2:11-14. This, the Apostle also clearly demonstrated, with his own life by God’s grace.

Now, to conclude his introduction, he unveiled his audience; TO ALL IN ROME. To ALL believers in Rome; Jews & Gentiles, Rich & Poor, Strong & Weak in faith, Matured & Babes in Christ, Those in Position of Power and their subordinates, Those suffering and those who seemed contented, etc. Despite all their classes or differences, they were loved by God, and called to be saints.

The Apostle couldn’t ask for nothing less for them; Grace & Peace from God.

To the believers; may God’s grace be poured on us to run the race completely and triumphantly in Jesus name. Amen

To those who are yet to believe and accept Christ’s accomplishments for us on the cross; may God’s grace be greatly poured on us, to believe and to obey in Jesus name. Amen

To those who are weak, struggling, oppressed, etc ; may God’s grace be poured on us to overcome in Jesus name. Amen

To All ; May God’s peace fill, guard, and guide our lives in Jesus name. Amen
